“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”
Hebrew 11:1 (NIV)

Faith goes beyond just belief. Its about trusting in God wholeheartedly when we cant seethe bigger picture.

Here are a few ideas about faith:

1. Faith is Trust in God’s Character
Faith means believing that God is who He says He is—loving, just, powerful, and faithful.
Proverbs 3:5-6 – “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding…”

2. Faith is Active, Not Passive
It’s not just believing in your mind—faith leads to action. For example, Abraham moved when God called him (Hebrews 11:8).
James 2:17 – “Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.”

3. Faith is Rooted in Relationship
Faith grows through a relationship with God. It’s about walking with Him, relying on Him daily, even in uncertainty.
2 Corinthians 5:7 – “For we live by faith, not by sight.”

4. Faith Leads to Salvation
At the core of the gospel is the idea that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 2:8-9 – “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith… it is the gift of God—not by works…” And the list goes on and on.

In short, faith is believing in God, trust His promises, acting on His words and most importantly resting in His love- even when life doesnt make sense.

Do you have Faith? If yes. Continue to trust in Him and act on His words. He will never leave you or forsake you.

LET US PRAY!
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for being a faithful and loving God. In times of uncertainty, help me to trust in You completely. Strengthen my faith so that I may walk confidently, knowing that You are always with me.

When doubts arise, remind me of Your promises. When I feel weak, fill me with Your strength. Teach me to rely not on my own understanding, but on Your wisdom and guidance.

Lord, I surrender my fears, worries, and anxieties to You. Increase my faith so that I may stand firm in every season—through trials, through waiting, and through joy. Let my faith not just be words, but action, living out Your will in love and obedience.

I believe that You are working all things for my good, even when I cannot see it. Thank You for Your grace, mercy, and unchanging love. I put my trust in You today and always.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
