Ecclesiastes 3:11 — “He hath made every thing beautiful in his time…”

Psalm 31:15 — “My times are in thy hand…”

There are seasons in life when we wonder, “God, when?” When will things change? When will my prayers be answered? When will I finally see the purpose behind what I’m going through?

Ecclesiastes reminds us that God makes everything beautiful in His time. That doesn’t mean everything happens according to our schedule. It means that God sees the entire picture when we can only see one piece.

Psalm 31:15 gives us the answer to the question of timing: “My times are in thy hand.”

Your past is in His hands.
Your present is in His hands.
Your future is in His hands.

Sometimes God’s delay feels like rejection, but a delay is not necessarily a denial. There may be preparation happening in the waiting that you cannot see yet. God may be developing your character, strengthening your faith, or positioning you for something you aren’t ready to receive today.

You don’t have to understand God’s timing to trust God’s hands.

If you’re waiting on an answer, keep praying. If you’re in a difficult season, keep believing. If you don’t know what’s next, keep walking with God.

The same God who holds your future is holding you right now.

LET US PRAY!
Father, help us trust You with our timing. When we become frustrated because things aren’t happening when we want them to, remind us that our times are in Your hands. Give us patience in the waiting, faith in the uncertainty, and confidence that You are working even when we cannot see it. Make everything beautiful according to Your perfect timing.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
